Athens Micro is thrilled to announce the addition of several new members to our impressive roster!

First up, we’ve hired two help desk engineers to help our team respond to our clients’ IT issues, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Both these engineers will also proactively monitor our clients’ network security to prevent cyberattacks and malware from causing downtime or data breaches.

Patrick Gebrayel is a recent graduate of Athens Technical College with a degree in Computer Support and Network Administration. Before joining our team, he spent two years as a research assistant at the University of Georgia working in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. Whether he’s tinkering with computers or learning about the latest software, Patrick’s passion for IT is apparent inside and outside the office.

Maurice Ynclan will also provide help desk support for our Flat Fee IT service. Before coming to us, he worked as a help desk technician for the international clothing retailer Chicos Fas and loves working in the technology industry. Maurice studied anthropology in college but took every IT class his schedule had room for.

Finally, we hired a low-voltage cabling technician named Kody Grover to ensure every piece of hardware we support is connected safely and efficiently to the proper power or network outlet. He has years of experience pulling and terminating cable, as he held the same position at the Comtran Group.

We are very excited for Patrick, Maurice, and Kody to join the Athens Micro team. They’ve already begun handling client requests and they’re eager to take on more.

Athens Micro has thrived over the past three decades by building strong relationships with our clients. We prioritize integrity, helpfulness, responsiveness, and diligence in everything we do and it’s cemented our company as one of the best managed IT services providers in Watkinsville and Athens.
